Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzalez Collins (born in Mexico) is an Mexican American sportscaster. She is an ESPN news anchor and hosts SportsNation occasionally. Her first job for ESPN in the year 2016. She is the daughter television journalist Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta is native to two languages. When she was just nine, Collins's ability to speak two languages has led to her obtaining an employment in Miami as an assistant producer for Univision. In her position she was able to collaborate with national program producers, such as Nuestra Belleza Latina. Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. She was hired as an reporter at The CBS St. Petersburg affiliate in the following year. In 2009, she relocated away from Texas into Rio Grande Valley where she became a news correspondent on KNVO TV 48 Univision. In 2009 she made the move to Rio Grande Valley, Texas and became an editor for KNVO48 Univision as well as Fox2 News. She was also frequently asked to serve as a weather and sports anchor. Then she anchor and wrote on Univision's Dallas affiliate Deportes 23 where she was granted more responsibilities. She wrote pieces on Major League Baseball ALDS ALCS and World Series as well Dallas Cowboys NBA postseason finals FC Dallas, and Dallas Stars. Besides this, she produced Univision 23's local sports show Accion Deportiva Extra on which she was anchor. She was promoted as a sports anchor on Despierta America Deportes' morning show. In the same capacity she also worked for Primer Impacto (a network magazine) and Contacto Deportivo (a UniMas Network sports program). Antonietta's parents are from Veracruz Mexico. She was born November 22 on the 22nd of October, 1985 in Mexico City. There is also an older sibling. Her family relocated to Miami in 1992 following the departure from Mexico. After a while they separated, and, in 1995 Fabio Fajardo was remarried. He died of kidney cancer in 2006. It was during a summer vacation that she stayed with her sister living in Canton Ohio where the older Collins girl had secured the job. Antonietta had just graduated high school, however she knew the things she wanted to accomplish. The result was that she liked the campus and that the school had the program she desired. After graduation, she went to the university as an undergraduate major in media studies. Mark Bergmann was her professor as well as the director of WRMU and WRMU, which she's a member. They developed a close connection. Professor Bergmann encouraged her to have self-confidence and was greatly moved by his enthusiasm for journalism.
